The Elegba Folklore Society led a processional, pouring of libations and prayer upon the return of the ancestral remains to Richmond.

EMSW Project Community Update

Join us as we share progress and continue planning VCU’s ongoing effort to acknowledge and reconcile the university’s past and its continued plans for the memorialization and interment of the remains found in the East Marshall Street Well.

Pre-registration is encouraged by May 31. Register here. 

Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Refreshments and a light lunch provided.
